Property Manager
Location: Newburgh , NY
Base Salary: 35k
Benefits: Company offers paid vacation, paid holiday, sick leave and employer paid health benefits after 90 day probationary period.

Our client, a property management company, is looking for an experienced Property Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a senior citizen HUD building.
Property manager must be sensitive to senior's special needs.

Job Duties:
Collection of rent, daily bank deposits, maintain and update waiting list and keep bldg. 100% occupied, verifies income.

Complete initial, annual, interim recertifications.

Process move-ins/move-outs according to HUD regulations. In conjunction with main office starts legal proceedings, processes evictions.

Process invoices and submit to main office. Prepare and process leases, security deposits, inspections for new tenants. Conduct annual apartment inspections.

Supervise maintenance staff.

Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.

Uses site computer software to maintain tenant records for rent payments vouchering, recertification.

Ensures that tenant files and information is kept locked and confidential.


Job Qualifications:

2-5yrs of property management experience.

COS or equivalent certification.

Yardi Voyager Software. HUD knowledge.

Position reports to company vice-president.
